We will have drinks and snacks to enjoy!      Jarod will be going to this event on Saturday and All International Students are welcome to come (Saturday Evening, ask Jarod on Friday for the time to meet at ETC) Sweet Corn Festival Sweet Corn Festival!  What exactly is the Sweetcorn Festival? The Urbana Sweetcorn Festival is THE largest Champaign County festival! Over 50,000 community members come out to enjoy hot buttery sweetcorn and finish up the summer with a bang! The festival offers tons of musical entertainment from local bands, to national acts.   When is the Sweetcorn Festival and what hours can I attend? August 26th from 5pm - 11pm August 27th from 11am - 11pm          What types of food can I expect?  Sweet Corn (only 50cents) Each year is different in the selection of food vendors, but what is the same year to year is the variety that is offered. You can come out to grab BBQ, Greek, ice creams, funnel cakes, Thai and so much more. Check our  vendor page to see exactly what you will see for this year!     Where is the event? Downtown Urbana! Main Street will be closed from Race to Vine and Race/Broadway will be closed as well. All streets will be programmed with food, fun and music!           Jarod will be going to The Sweet Corn Festival on Saturday Evening and All International Students are welcome to come, ask Jarod on Friday for the time to meet at ETC.   Canoe Trip coming soon! September 5th Labor day International Canoe trip Etc International Coffeehouse and Purdue University (Indiana) Will be joining together to go on this massive trip down Turkey Run river! Groups will canoe down the river to a beach where we will share a huge lunch and meet lots of new people from many places and ways of life, play games on the beach and enjoy the weather next to the river. Then, we will continue down the river to the end and have a chance to hike around the beautiful forest and caves and ravines. Find out more at the coffeehouse ever Friday at 4:00pm-6:00pm   You need to bring:   Extra Shoes (in case yours get wet and you want to change)  Extra socks Extra ClothsSwim Suit (If you'd like to cool off with the water games on the beach when we get to the half way mark)$25 (covers Gas, Food, Canoe rental for the whole day)           TO GO ON THIS TRIP YOU NEED TO SIGN UP!      Drivers get first priority if you can fit 3+ people! (let me know if you can drive others)        There More fun at ETC coffeehouse and adventures have already started! We will be going on small adventures every other week to places around town, or out of town for larger ones!
